Abstract: Alectra vogelii is a parasitic weed that attacks cowpea, groundnut, soybean and other tropical legumes causing between 70 and 100% crop loss in susceptible cultivars. Studies were conducted to identify fungal antagonists that would effectively control A. vogelii weed for integration into current Alectra control measures.
